| | Until recently Rob was Chief Executive of Worcestershire County Council. He joined Hereford and Worcester Council in 1995 and was appointed to head the new Worcestershire authority when it was founded in 1997. | Under his leadership Worcestershire has become a high performing 4 star council. Rob led some pioneering work on customer access to services and was Chair of the Chief Executives task force on strategic procurement. He was awarded an OBE in the 2008 New Years Honours. Rob has also been Secretary of the West Midlands Local Government Association and West Midlands Regional Assembly. |
