Bruce has a passion for helping Boards, Directors, and organisations become more effective as they intentionally address important problems and harness their strengths. This is something he has had much opportunity to do in his roles as Chief Superintendent of Police, Chair of a Housing Association, Chair of Groundwork, Board member of St Basil’s, the youth Homelessness Organisation, and a Board member of Walsall College. 

Bruce has a BA in business studies and enjoys ensuring that organisations with which he is involved make the most of being strategically clear and consistent while achieving excellent results.  Bruce has worked with a number of organisations in the West Midlands that support local communities and was awarded the OBE in 2004 for his services to regeneration.
